Lauren Bradshaw

Lauren Bradshaw – Specialist Sports Physiotherapist

Lauren graduated with a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham in 2005. She later completed a Master’s degree in Sports Injury Management at Sheffield Hallam University in 2015. She has worked in Private Practice but predominantly within Elite Sport. Lauren spent 4 years working as the Great Britain Handball Lead Physiotherapist on the run up and during the London 2012 Olympic Games. Lauren is still a contracted Physiotherapist for Great Britain Diving, Boxing and Bobsleigh squads and spends time looking after athletes competing and training across the World.

Lauren has been involved in Sports since the age of 2 ½ when she took up ballet, modern and tap dance. At eight years old she began figure skating and competed as an ice dancer as part of the Senior British Figure Skating Squad until 2005. During this time she also trained and qualified as a level 2 figure skating coach. In 2009, Lauren changed sport and converted to becoming a Triathlete. She has competed as a GB Age Group athlete wining Bronze at the 2014 World Duathlon Championships and also completed her first Ironman in Mallorca in 2015. Lauren continues to be an active member of Cambridge Triathlon Club and is regularly competing around the World.

Lauren has extensive experience in treating clients of all ages with general and sports musculoskeletal injuries. Lauren’s specialism is in the assessment and treatment of triathletes and runners with lower limb biomechanical problems. She is trained in the biomechanical assessment of running as well as specific fitness testing for cyclists on the Watt Bike.
