At your first appointment a detailed history will be taken, followed by a thorough assessment. You will receive expert advice and treatment and we will provide you with a personal recovery programme tailored to your needs. Our physiotherapists can also refer you to a consultant and can arrange access to our diagnostic facilities. Your physiotherapist can liase with your GP and provide them with a detailed discharge summary at the end of your physiotherapy treatment (with your permission).

We aim to provide the best treatment and advice in order to help return you to normal fitness as soon as possible. The earlier you request an assessment for an injury or musculo-skeletal problem and receive appropriate treatment, the faster we will be able to help you resume your daily activities and sports.

What should I do next if I want a bone check-up at Progress?

Insured Patients
Simply visit your GP and ask them to refer you to Professor Cathy Speed at Progress. Your GP will write a letter of referral and then you can contact us on 01223 200580 to arrange your first appointment. Please check with your insurer that the treatment will be covered under your policy.

Self Pay Patients
For self-pay treatments, simply call us on 01223 200580 to request a guide price or to discuss your personal situation. Professor Speed accepts self-referrals without the need to visit your GP.
